The Promoda Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) Panel is an intelligent power management system designed to automatically transfer electrical load from the utility mains supply to a diesel generator during a power failure. The panel ensures uninterrupted power supply to critical loads by automatically starting the generator and restoring power within seconds.
In many industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and infrastructure installations, continuous power supply is essential for maintaining operations and protecting sensitive equipment. The AMF panel continuously monitors the status of the utility power supply and detects abnormalities such as voltage failure, phase loss, or complete power outage.
When a mains failure occurs, the AMF controller automatically sends a start command to the diesel generator and transfers the load to the generator once stable voltage and frequency are achieved. When the utility supply is restored, the panel automatically transfers the load back to the mains supply and safely shuts down the generator after a predefined cooling period.
The panel incorporates microprocessor-based generator control modules, automatic changeover switching devices, protection breakers, and monitoring instruments to ensure safe and reliable operation of both the generator and the connected electrical loads.
Promoda AMF panels are constructed using heavy-duty sheet steel enclosures with modular internal sections that house switching components, control circuitry, and protection devices. The panel design supports floor-mounted installation with front access for operation and rear access for wiring.
Designed for 415V low voltage power systems, the AMF panel integrates seamlessly with diesel generator sets and electrical distribution systems. The system is widely used in industrial plants, hospitals, commercial complexes, telecom facilities, and data centers where uninterrupted power supply is critical.
